These stamps were issued on 6th February, 2009 by United Nations for the New York administration. The stamp designs are paintings of three different species of Roses. All of them belong to the genus Rosa, within the family Rosaceae.
The stamps were designed by Jaime Arredondo, a Master of Fine Arts from Yale University. This is his first set of stamp designs for the United Nations.
